Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional Boleros from the past along with traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is passionate about opera and tangos, and the dramatic shows that she attends. Ana started learning how to play and sing from an early age, along with her mother. She received more formal singing instruction when she reached the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. Her early professional career included performances with a variety of chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. When she moved in America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she moved to southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Passion and enthusiasm for music, art, and performing keeps her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana is also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
